Jonathan Kozycz has spent decades working in the jewelry industry, beginning his career as a bench jeweler in his family’s jewelry store at just fourteen years old. Over the years, he expanded his expertise through diamond sales, custom design, luxury retail leadership, and entrepreneurship before founding Jonathan K. & Co. Fine Jewelry in Sacramento, California. He designs every custom piece personally, carries only GIA-certified diamonds, and has built his reputation on honesty, craftsmanship, and relationships that span generations.

How it Started
Jonathan's path in jewelry began before most people have their first job. At fourteen, he started working at his family's jewelry store, learning the craft from the ground up as a bench jeweler. What began as a family trade quickly became a genuine passion, one rooted in craftsmanship, education, and the belief that jewelry should be made to last.
The Journey
From the bench, Jonathan moved into diamond sales, developing deep expertise in stone evaluation, grading, and sourcing. He went on to open Executive Jewelers in Folsom, where he spent nine years building a loyal client base and refining his approach to custom design and personal service. He later served as Director of Operations at Michael Greene & Co. in Sacramento, where he gained perspective on the value of a small retail environment rather than a large operation.
What he kept coming back to was the relationship. The one-on-one conversation. The client who comes back three years later because they trust you. The family that brings in their grandmother's ring and needs someone careful enough to honor it. The big box model couldn't offer that. So he built something that could.
Where Things Are Today
Jonathan K. & Co. Fine Jewelry exists for clients who value quality over convenience and trust over transaction. Today, Jonathan works with individuals and families across the Sacramento region, from first-time engagement ring buyers to multi-generational clients who have been coming back for decades. Every piece is designed, sourced, or selected personally, with the same standard he has held since his first day at the bench.

“First of all, his jewelry showroom is a show stopper. He has the most beautiful jewelry. I paid him a visit because I had lost a small diamond out of my wedding ring. I told him I was hoping to have them back in 5 days because I was leaving town. He stated that he could get them back to me by then. He replaced the diamond, repaired the prong, and flashed (made the white gold look new again) the entire set. Later that evening I get a message from Jonathan stating that my rings were ready for pick up. What???? The next day I went to retrieve my rings and I was floored.
